The boutique hotel has a privileged location. It is within the historic centre of Jerez, next to the cathedral and within the walls of the old medieval city.

It is surrounded by the elegant area of the Plaza del Arroyo, the Plaza de la Encarnación, where the old Aljamen mosque and the Alcázar are located, and the traditional neighbourhood of San Salvador.

It is very close to the medieval quarters of Santiago and San Miguel, which are very popular because this is where the most popular shopping areas and restaurants are concentrated.

Jerez is home to excellent wines and outstanding gastronomy, with several Michelin-starred restaurants, such as Mantua or Lu Cocina y Alma.

We always recommend our guests to visit the local restaurants and tabancos, which are places where you can enjoy wine and tapas, some of them with live flamenco.

Just a few kilometres from the city there are several coastal towns where you can taste fish and seafood of the best quality and next to the sea.

The bars of Jerez are part of the very essence of the city. Here the culture of wine and tapas mixes and, sometimes, many of them have live music and flamenco to delight diners.

These are the so-called tabancos and our special recommendations are:

  • Tabanco el Pasaje, in Calle Santa María, 8.
  • Tabanco las Banderillas, in calle Caballeros, 12
  • Tabanco Flamenco a la Feria, in calle Armas, 5
  • Tabanco San Pablo, in calle San Pablo, 12

In Jerez de la Frontera we boast of museums. These are some of the most interesting:

  • Muso del Enganche y del Arte Ecuestre, located in the old winery quarter where the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Foundation is located.
  • Museum of Lola Flores, in the Plaza Belén, which will soon be open to the public.
  • Archaeological Museum, in the old Market Square. The Corinthian helmet stands out, a unique piece in the West, which was found in the vicinity of the Cartuja, in the Guadalete River.
  • Museos de la Atalaya, consisting of the Misterio de Jerez, which is a wine museum, and the Palacio del Tiempo, which is a clock museum, the only one in Spain dedicated to historical clocks.
  • The Bullfighting Museum is in an old wine cellar in Calle Pozo del Olivar.
  • The Museo de Belén is also in an old wine cellar, built in 1871, next to the Plaza de Toros.
  • In the Pinacoteca Rivero, also called Bodegas Tradición, is the most important collection in Andalusia and one of the most important in Spain. It is made up of more than 300 paintings by artists such as Zurbarán, Goya, Velázquez or Madrazo and includes paintings from the 15th to the 19th century.
